Why are two-footed tackles so dangerous?
Winning the ball doesn't excuse a dangerous two-footed tackle.
Leaving the ground with both feet forward removes control and turns the studs into weapons. Even if the player wins the ball, the danger to the opponent's ankles and knees makes it serious foul play. Referees and routinely upgrade these to straight reds regardless of ball contact.
